Hanover Park Zoo






Hanover zoo located in Hanover, capital of Lower Saxony center, animal Hanover Park on May 4, 1865, was established on an area of 22 hectares.

Currently, is home to about 3414 animals of 237 species oversees the care of more than 400 employees!





This park is divided into seven parts, namely:

1) Zambezi: here where you can take a boat trip takes you through the industrial river, on both sides find giraffes and rhinos and various species of birds.

2) Gorilla Mountain: sits on the highest point in the animals Hanover Park, gorillas live here among lush vegetation and dense forests.

3) Yukon Bay: It's home to wolves and deer and dogs, as there is here the structure of an ancient ship.

4) Jungle Palace: a gallery of Indian rainforest, find here the elephants and tigers and leopards and Asian Alofai.

5) Outback: featuring kangaroos and Australian birds and bears.

6) Mullewapp: a place dedicated to children's toys where slides and various fun games.

7) Meyers Farm: Here you will find an old wooden buildings dating back to the half of the nineteenth century have been collected from various parts of Lower Saxony and re-erected in Hanover Park Zoo.
