Cat Falls From Sky And Crashes Onto Man's Head, Knocking Him Unconscious

 

A bizarre moment was captured on tape when a cat fell from the sky and crashed onto an elderly person's head, knocking him unconscious.

In the surveillance footage, Gao Fenghua, can be seen walking his golden retriever in the city of Harbin in the north-eastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang.  But as he strolls, a cat falls from above and smashes on to his head, sending him tumbling to the ground.

The cat immediately gets up and runs away.  Meanwhile, the man's dog wanders back to his owner.  The golden retriever then corners the cat near a building.

Fenghua spent 23 days in hospital before being discharged this week.  He still has to undergo physiotherapy treatment, according to Harbin TV.

The cat reportedly belongs to Fenghua's neighbor, identified as Mr.  Yu, according to the victim’s son Gao Zhengzhong.

 The injured man’s family members and the cat’s owner are reportedly trying to reach an agreement on compensation for the accident.  It is unclear if the authorities are involved in the discussions.
